Bourbon Pulled Pork

Whiskey school seems like it was 10 years ago, and yet it was only a few weeks.

You know the story, time, it flies.

But I still have things I want to share with you! Namely, the creations of their resident food wizard, Chef Stephanie Godke. You see, they hired Stephanie to create recipes using their booze.

She knows it’s a dream job.  No need to remind her.

This week we are going to take a look at some of her boozy creations in the hopes that you’ll look at your liquor cabinet as not only a thirsty thursday resource, but one for the whole week!

First up, Bourbon Pulled Pork.

In a saucepan, melt the butter with the oil over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until golden, about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine; reduce heat to low and cook until thickened, about 30 to 45 minutes. Stir often. Pour over pulled pork on buns.
