Whiskey school seems like it was 10 years ago, and yet it was only a few weeks.
You know the story, time, it flies.
But I still have things I want to share with you! Namely, the creations of their resident food wizard, Chef Stephanie Godke. You see, they hired Stephanie to create recipes using their booze.
She knows it’s a dream job. No need to remind her.
This week we are going to take a look at some of her boozy creations in the hopes that you’ll look at your liquor cabinet as not only a thirsty thursday resource, but one for the whole week!
First up, Bourbon Pulled Pork.

- butter - 3 tablespoons
- canola oil - 3 tablespoons
- onion - 1 cup, chopped
- Cody Road Bourbon - 1/2 cup
- ketchup - 3/4 cup
- cider vinegar - 1/2 cup
- orange juice - 1/2 cup
- maple syrup - 1/2 cup
- molasses - 1/4 cup
- brown sugar - 1/4 cup
- worchestershire sauce - 2 tablespoons
- salt and pepper - 1/2 teaspoon each
- pulled pork - 1 pound
- buns - 8
